Shaheer Sheikh, Arpitranka, Aham Sharma, Saurav Gurjar, Thakur Anup Singh, Riya Deepsi, Sourabh Raaj Jain and Rohit Bhardwaj, who are the cast of the Mahabharata series, have just had a reunion. It’s hard to believe that 11 years have passed since this Mahabharata series aired in Indonesia. What do the actors look like now?
The Mahabharata series was a hit during its time around 2014 in Indonesia, aired on one of the private television stations. In India, this series aired in 2013. Mahabharata tells the story of the Pandavas and the Kauravas who are in conflict over the throne of Hastinapura. This conflict led to a great war.
Now, 11 years have passed and these actors are showcasing their togetherness. The Mahabharata cast attended an invitation from actor and producer Mohan Babu who is celebrating his birthday.
With their busy schedules, it is certainly not easy to arrange a meeting for these actors and actresses.
"Our Mahabharata gang made some beautiful memories live from Tirupati. Remember that we rarely meet. Maybe once every 6 months or sometimes once a year," wrote Thakur Anup Singh in his post caption.
"However, these photos are proof of the bond we share. We always keep up with each other's latest news. Every time we meet, the energy between us becomes extraordinary," he continued.
Thakur Anup Singh also revealed that the cast members have become like family. "These 13 years have brought us closer than when we started our journey with Mahabharata. Even though we only had 1 day together, we made the most of our time. Cheers to the team and more reunions!" he concluded.
Flashback, the cast of Mahabharata was even brought to Indonesia because of the booming popularity of the series. Among the cast, Shaheer Sheikh has visited Indonesia the most and has been involved in several projects including the film TURIS ROMANTIS which aired in 2015.
The second idol for women after Shaheer Sheikh is Sourabh Raaj Jain who played the character of Krishna. From his Instagram page, he is now married and blessed with two children.
