Called Bollywood Nepotism Product, Sonam Kapoor: I'm Proud

Sonam Kapoor, who was also criticized by netizens after Sushant Singh Rajput's death, being called a victim of nepotism in Bollywood, instead responded to all the negative comments directed at her.

Through her Twitter account, the daughter of actor Anil Kapoor did not hesitate to admit that she is indeed a result of nepotism and she is not ashamed of it. Sonam also admitted that she received privileges compared to others.

"Today, on Father's Day, I want to say one thing. Yes, I am my father's daughter and yes, I am here because of him and yes, I did get that privilege. It is not something to be demeaned, my father worked very hard to give me all this. And this is my karma, where I was born and which family I was born into. I am proud," said Sonam.

1. Show Mean Comments

In continuation of her tweet, Sonam Kapoor revealed some mean comments from haters directed towards her. There were many that were very harsh and hurtful.

"These are the comments directed towards me. All the media and everyone who encourages this behavior and incites it. This is your doing. People talk about how someone should be kind to others, but they also speak very badly to others," wrote Sonam.

2. Hoping Others Don't Experience the Same with Her

Furthermore, Sonam asks everyone to read the comment section on her personal account. She also prays that what she experiences is not felt by the person who writes mean messages to her.

"I suggest all of you to read my comment section. And I'm sure none of you hope to experience the same. I hope your parents don't have to see something like this in your life," wrote Anand Ahuja's wife.

"Oppression, misguided revenge, and the need to pursue your own agenda regardless of the damage that occurs are your karma. May God and the universe forgive you," concluded Sonam.
