Crisis Continues Due to Pandemic, Varun Dhawan Sends Monetary Aid to 200 Bollywood Dancers

The assistance from Varun was expressed by Raj Surani, one of the dancers who received the aid. According to Raj, the dancers who were helped by Varun were those who had worked approximately 3 times in films starring the actor.

"Varun Dhawan has helped dancers in need. He has worked with most of them in 3 film titles. He promised to help and try to solve the problems. Many dancers have run out of money to pay their contracts, some have sick parents, and elderly dancers who need to buy medicine regularly. We are grateful to everyone who has helped the dancers. Although filming has started, the dancers still have to wait a long time to be able to return to the shooting location," said Raj.

2. Crisis Continues

The crisis that has been going on in India due to the effects of the corona virus pandemic is still ongoing. Although the entertainment industry is slowly moving, it still cannot gather many people and some sectors are still inactive, including the job of background dancers.

The regulations on the number of people allowed to gather in one place have prevented dancers from working. Because in one location, there are sometimes more than 100 background dancers to accompany the songs performed by the film stars.
