Kajol, born on August 5, 1974, in Mumbai, is an actress who has achieved great success in Hindi cinema. She comes from a family of famous artists, with her mother Tanuja and father Shomu Mukherjee.
Kajol began her career at the age of 17 by starring in the film Bekhudi in 1992. However, she did not become famous immediately until she starred in the film Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge alongside Shah Rukh Khan, which made her one of the most popular actresses in Bollywood.
