JAWAN Film's Great Success, Predicted to Become Shahrukh Khan's Highest Grossing Film of All Time

On the 8th day of its release in theaters, this film directed by Atlee has already earned Rs400 crore or around Rp800 billion in India alone.

As reported by Pinkvilla.com, the earnings of JAWAN are predicted to continue to soar and surpass THE NUN II which is currently also showing in India. SRK's new film is estimated to add at least Rs50 crore or around Rp100 billion to its earnings this weekend alone.

1. So It Becomes the Highest Grossing Film

If the revenue trend of JAWAN continues like this week, it is not impossible for the final result of this film to surpass PATHAAN. Indian film observers predict that JAWAN could become the highest-grossing film ever starring Shahrukh Khan. Currently, that title is still held by PATHAAN, which also premiered in 2023 with a revenue of Rp1.2 trillion.

Currently, it is easy for JAWAN to enter the Rs550 or Rs600 crore film club for income in India alone. If combined with revenue from overseas, it is not impossible for JAWAN to reach Rs1000 crore.

3. Sold to Netflix

The success of JAWAN in cinemas has caught the attention of the online film platform, Netflix. Currently, Red Chillies Entertainment, the production house owned by the actor who made JAWAN, has agreed to sell the broadcasting rights of the film.

Netflix bought JAWAN for Rs250 crore or about Rp550 billion. A quite fantastic amount, although it is still lower than the newly released film Prabhas, SALAAR which was bought by Netflix for Rp721 billion.
