When met in the Kebayoran Baru area, South Jakarta, Thursday (14/9), Aya Canina explained the main problem between her and AMIGDALA. She stated that she has the rights to the name AMIGDALA.
"I am the one who came up with the name AMIGDALA. The song AMIGDALA has a psychological term, including the release of the first mini album katarsis that I made. Eventually, AMIGDALA became a full band, and we invited two of our friends," said Aya Canina.

After Aya decided to leave, Isa Maulana Elfasya also followed suit with his own decision. Because of this, of course, the copyright and trademark of AMIGDALA are not responsible.
After that, Aya became the rightful owner of the AMIGDALA trademark itself. However, after being patented, the personnel still use Aya Canina's name and works without permission.

"Well, in terms of creation, my and Isa's departure became the absence of copyright and trademark holders of the songs and the name AMIGDALA. I don't know how those people in the band can still perform songs and use the name AMIGDALA. Finally, I obtained the trademark rights and copyright of the songs from the album BALADA PUAN," he said.
"The problem here is, the first issue I faced is regarding the trademark rights. They still use the name AMIGDALA even after I left the band, and until now they still use the name AMIGDALA. There is also the use of songs without permission," he continued.

Therefore, in the same opportunity, Aya Canina's legal representative, Nanang Hartanto, has sent a somation to obtain moral rights and economic rights over the brand and works owned by his client which are still being used until now. However, there has been no response to the somation until now.
"We have sent a somation or warning regarding the usage. Actually, we are looking for a win-win solution but they did not respond or their legal representative did not respond," Nanang Hartanto concluded.
