The former wife of Ferry Irawan always gives a message to Verrell Bramasta to be an honest and trustworthy politician. Even if Verrell is elected, Venna urges her son not to use branded items.

"I always tell Verrell, if you become a politician, you have to leave behind all branded items. You have to position yourself as a representative of the people. Clearly, your lifestyle will change, your way of thinking will change. Because what you have, all these luxurious things, you will leave behind," said Venna Melinda in Tendean, South Jakarta, on Thursday (14/9/2023).

Furthermore, Venna Melinda always gives a message to Verrell to always interact with the community. According to her, as a politician, one must directly engage with the community and listen to their aspirations.

"You (Verrell) must read a lot, care, and interact more. Because being a politician is not about being smart in theory, but being smart because you interact more with the community. That's where his intelligence lies," she said.

Venna herself wants Verrell to advance in his political career. She believes that her son has excellent abilities in academics.

"That's why if I want Verrell to keep advancing, he is actually smart but at that time he didn't have the chance to go to university, now he wants to study again because I believe that you must have a Bachelor's degree while being a member of parliament," concluded Venna.
