Super Rich, Shahrukh Khan Becomes the Highest Taxpayer Artist in India This Year - Total Payment Rp168 Billion

Kapanlagi.com - The Indian Tax Department has just announced the list of the most disciplined celebrities and entrepreneurs in paying taxes. Among dozens of names, Shahrukh Khan is the actor who pays the most tax among celebrities.

According to NDTV, this year Shahrukh Khan paid taxes amounting to Rs92 crore or around Rp168 billion. This tax is deducted from his earnings per film, advertisements, endorsements, and his business.

1. Surpass Virat Kohli

With such a tax amount, this year Shahrukh Khan has surpassed cricket athlete Virat Kohli. Last year, the husband of actress Anushka Sharma was the celebrity with the highest tax payment.

This year, Virat's name did not make it into the top 10 highest taxpayers in India. In second place after Shahrukh is Vijay, a Tamil actor who paid taxes of Rs80 crore or around Rp146 billion.

2. List of Highest Tax-Paying Artists

This year’s list of the biggest tax-paying celebrities also includes Salman Khan, who paid taxes amounting to Rs75 crore or around Rp137 billion. Additionally, Amitabh Bachchan is also on the list, having paid taxes of Rs71 crore or around Rp130 billion.

Following them are Ajay Devgan, who paid taxes of Rp76 billion, Ranbir Kapoor with Rp65 billion, and Hrithik Roshan with Rp51 billion. Then there’s Kapil Sharma, who paid Rp51 billion, Kareena Kapoor with Rp36 billion, and Shahid Kapoor with Rp25 billion.
