Elma Theana and her extended family bid farewell to her beloved mother at her final resting place in TPU Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta, on Sunday (29/9/2024).
The woman, born on October 3, 1974, was deeply affected by the passing of her beloved mother, her eyes appeared swollen and wet with tears.
Throughout the funeral procession, Elma Theana was always by the side of Rency Milano. The two siblings appeared to support each other.
Behind the feeling of loss over her mother's permanent departure, Elma harbored deep regrets from the last moments with the deceased.
All this time, Elma Theana is known as a figure who always faithfully took care of her mother even though she had to divide her time with her busy schedule as an actress.
However, Elma felt she could no longer accompany her mother in her final days because her physical condition was too exhausted from filming.
"Yesterday I came home from filming because I had been in Ciawi since last night, I was really drained, I told my sister, 'Sister Elma seems like she can't, she can't go to Mama again because of Ciawi'," said Elma.
Elma was shocked when she received a phone call from her sister informing her that her mother's condition was getting worse and she was asked to come to the hospital immediately at 04:00 WIB.
Unfortunately, Elma's arrival at the hospital was too late; her mother had already passed away. "Yes, it was indeed too late when I got there, everything had already been removed," she revealed.
The moment made Elma feel guilty and regretful for not being able to accompany her mother for the last time. "I do regret it, you know, I didn't stop by," said Elma.
Elma Theana expressed her regret for not being by her mother’s side in her final moments before passing away.
