Sonny Septian is mourning the loss of his mother who took her last breath on Sunday (29/4/2024). Along with Elma Theana and his three siblings, Sonny Septian accompanied their mother, Wati Siregar, to her final resting place at TPU Karet Bivak, Central Jakarta.

The man, born on September 23, 1983, was seen carrying the coffin to the cemetery and descending into the grave to accompany the body of his beloved mother.
However, Sonny Septian still has to wear a neck brace as part of his recovery treatment after the surgery for narrowing blood vessels.
As the body was lowered, Sonny Septian recited the final call to prayer for his mother with great composure, even though tears were hard to hold back.
The sadness was increasingly felt by Sonny Septian as the officers began to cover the grave with soil, followed by prayers.
The family offered prayers for the mother to receive the best place beside the Creator. The burial process was concluded with the scattering of flowers.
"Mom is no longer sick, we will meet in a healthy state in heaven, okay? We will all pray for mom here, her grandchildren, hopefully, everyone will open the gates of heaven for mom," said Sonny Septian.
"Mom's grandchildren, mom's children, hopefully, the Quran memorizers will bring mom to Allah's heaven. Be happy, Mom... Husnul khotimah, right?" concluded Sonny Septian.
Sonny Septian called the adhan at his mother's funeral to bid farewell to the deceased forever.
