According to the World Encyclopedia of STEKOM, Tengku Hassanal has a full name (and title) Kebawah Duli Yang Maha Mulia Pemangku Raja Pahang Tengku Mahkota Ibrahim Alam Shah ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri'ayatun Al-Mustafa Billah Shah or better known as Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah.

Tengku Hassanal was born on September 17, 1995 in Kuantan, Pahang. He is the second child of Al-Sultan Abdullah and Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah.

His father is the current Sultan of Pahang and also the Yang di-Pertuang Agong. Meanwhile, his mother holds the title of Raja Permaisuri Agong and Tengku Ampuan Pahang.

Tengku Hassanal himself currently holds the position of Pemangku Raja (regent ruler) and also Tengku Mahkota or Crown Prince of Pahang, the fourth in line.

Tengku Hassanal is an alumnus of the Geneva School of Diplomacy and International Relations and holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations.

As the heir to the throne, Tengku Hassanal also had to undergo military training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, England, for 44 weeks in 2019.

After completing military training, Tengku Hassanal was assigned to the 4th Mechanized Brigade of the 12th Battalion of the Royal Malay Army. He also received the rank of Second Lieutenant from his father.

On January 29, 2019, Tengku Hassanal was officially crowned as the Crown Prince (Putra Mahkita) and Regent for five years. The coronation took place at the Abu Bakar Palace. After gaining trust, he often represents Pahang in meetings with leaders of other districts or countries.
