Being able to play tennis against a world-class athlete is an unforgettable experience for Raffi Ahmad. He even dreams of defeating Taufik Hidayat in the upcoming match. 

"Honestly, this is an experience that I will never forget. Because when I was in elementary school, I watched Taufik Hidayat become the world champion in badminton. Then yesterday, I dreamt that one day (Taufik Hidayat) was defeated by Raffi Ahmad in tennis," he said while laughing.

As previously known, Raffi Ahmad has defeated Desta twice in tennis matches. However, this time Raffi Ahmad feels burdened because his opponent is a world-class athlete.

"If (the opponent) is Desta, it's not as nerve-wracking as facing Taufik Hidayat. It's different for me, Desta, Dikta, Dion Wiyoko, we come from the entertainment industry and we love sports. But this opponent is truly a world champion, his mentality is that of a champion. That's why I feel a bit burdened, winning or losing is a secondary matter, I'm afraid of being defeated," said Raffi Ahmad.

Therefore, Raffi Ahmad is not joking for the upcoming match. He has even trained hard to face Taufik Hidayat.

"The preparation is because the opponent is Taufik Hidayat, the world champion of badminton, so I can't take it lightly. I have to have a lot of playing styles so that I can keep up because Taufik Hidayat's mental strength is definitely not to be doubted anymore. So I can't slack off," he said.

"That's why when I participated in the marathon event yesterday, the training was to the point where I played more tennis than marathon," said Nagita Slavina's husband.

Not only Raffi Ahmad trained hard for this match. Taufik Hidayat also admitted that he has spent a lot of time training for tennis. He really doesn't want to lose to Raffi Ahmad. In fact, Taufik Hidayat feels like an athlete again.

"I was asked by others if I didn't want to play badminton anymore, if I didn't want to play tennis, how can I avoid losing. So I kept practicing.
