Soap opera actress Tamara Tyasmara held a birthday celebration for her child, Raden Andante Khalif Pramudityo, affectionately known as Dante, in a different way. On December 26, Tamara conducted a pilgrimage to Dante's grave at TPU Jeruk Purut, South Jakarta.
This year, Dante's birthday celebration was held at the grave because the child has passed away, but Tamara still wanted to pay a special tribute on Dante's birthday. Check out the complete photos below!
"Every year I never skip celebrating Dante's birthday. Even though he is in heaven now, I still want to celebrate here. I believe he comes and sees his friends too," said Tamara at TPU Jeruk Purut, South Jakarta, Thursday (26/12/2024).
The pilgrimage was attended by Tamara's large family, close friends, and children from the orphanage who were specifically invited to pray for Dante.
The children from the orphanage were seen wearing Muslim clothing while praying for Dante. A touching atmosphere enveloped the event, especially during the group prayer and food-sharing session.
"Earlier, there were 10 children from the orphanage that I brought here. They are the children from the orphanage that I often invite from 40 days to 100 days after Dante's passing," explained Tamara.
Tamara also brought flowers, a birthday cake, and several trinkets that were Dante's favorites during his lifetime. One of them is a Minion-shaped doll and flower that has always been at Dante's grave since his departure.
"Dante really loves Minions, that's why there are always Minions at his grave. This year I also made a Roblox decoration, because he really likes that," said Tamara.
In an emotional atmosphere, Tamara could not hold back her tears while reminiscing about Dante's birthday. She also brought the last photo of Dante when he was six years old, which is a sweet yet painful memory for her.
"Why does this year's birthday have to be here? Usually, we celebrate together at home or at school. But I believe Dante is happier celebrating his birthday in heaven," said Tamara.
The pilgrimage process lasted about 30 minutes. After that, it ended with the distribution of food to the children at the orphanage.
Even though it was held in a somber atmosphere, Tamara hopes this celebration can be the best prayer for Dante, who is now resting peacefully.
