11 Photos of Citra Scholastika Celebrating Christmas 2024, Sharing Family Gathering Moments Amidst a Busy Performance Schedule

Singer Citra Scholastika revealed that Christmas is always the moment she looks forward to every year. This celebration not only serves as a family gathering but also reflects the warmth and diversity within her family.

"Honestly, I always look forward to Christmas. Because my extended family is diverse, some celebrate Christmas, some celebrate Eid, and others. So Christmas is always special for me," said Citra Scholastika at her home in the Ciputat area, South Tangerang, on Wednesday (25/12/2024).

Citra acknowledges that the thing she misses most every Christmas is the moment of gathering with her extended family. Throughout the day, she divides her time to celebrate Christmas with family from various sides.

"So it's kind of divided, in the morning with my dad's family, in the afternoon with the younger ones, and in the evening with the Gen-Z cousins. So it's fun every Christmas," Citra said with a smile.

However, Citra's busy schedule as a singer keeps her from being heavily involved in the Christmas preparations at home. Since November, she has been performing almost every day in various cities to fulfill her performance schedule.

"Thank God, since November I have had a lot of performance schedules. I sing everywhere, until I finally didn’t have time to think about preparing for the Christmas celebration at home, so everything was handed over to my parents," she explained.

In addition, Citra also admitted that she did not help cook food to welcome the guests who would come to her house. Nevertheless, she still tried to contribute in other ways.

"I help by providing anything that needs to be bought and so on. I can't cook, though," said Citra while laughing lightly.

The busy travel schedule made Citra feel that the time leading up to Christmas this year was passing very quickly. She even had to take long journeys of up to 8 hours to various regions, such as Papua and Sulawesi, to fulfill performance invitations.

"This year feels like it went by so fast, because since November I've been working almost every day. The trips have also been long, so it feels like suddenly I'm in one city, then another. In terms of coordinating with family, I can't really be too involved," she added.

Even so, Citra still ensures that on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, she can be at home with her family. For her, these moments are a rare opportunity to feel genuine togetherness.

"Thank God, there are still blessings that I receive and I can feel the warmth of family gatherings again," said the 30-year-old woman gratefully.
