Kapanlagi.com - The latest horror film "Guna-Guna Istri Muda" features Lulu Tobing and Anjasmara as a married couple. Interestingly, even though they have been in the same production house before, this is the first time they have been brought together in one film project.
"When working, we haven't met for a long time. And back then we never worked in the same production together. Just one production house," said Anjasmara in the Menteng area, Central Jakarta, Friday (15/11/2024).
Playing the role of a married couple, Lulu and Anjas admitted that the process felt natural. Lulu explained that reading together with the director helped them understand each other's character dynamics.
"Just be natural. During the reading process, we also want to know what kind of director we are going to be as husband and wife. Just be natural," said Lulu.
When asked about the challenges in building chemistry, Lulu emphasized that everything went smoothly.
"There isn't any, there isn't. With anyone playing the characters in Guna-Guna Istri Muda, everything is safe," she said.
Anjasmara also agrees. For him, working with Lulu went smoothly, plus the support from the professional production team. He believes the process of making this film left a pleasant impression.
When seeing the final result of the film, Anjas admitted to being satisfied. He feels that the quality of this film far exceeds his expectations.
"Happy with the result. Because this is beyond my expectations," he stated.
He also praised the technical aspects of the film such as cinematography and lighting, which he believes greatly support the story.
"In terms of cinematography, it's good, in terms of lighting, it's good. Every character in this film truly comes to life," said Anjas.
This film is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 27, 2024. According to Anjas, the dedication of the entire team in working on this film deserves appreciation.
"Hopefully our hard work will yield good results and make the producers happy as well," he said.
