Caesar Hito's Wife Sees Her Husband Filming a Soap Opera Again

"It really has to be sacrificed time with the kids, but it's okay, this work is for them too," said Hito during a zoom interview on Thursday (14/11/2024).

The soap opera My Heart serves as a comeback for Caesar Hito after some time away from the entertainment world. He started filming in August last year, and this soap opera began airing last June on SCTV. Currently, the soap has reached over 160 episodes.

According to Hito, filming a strip like this indeed takes a lot of time, especially since he has to complete two episodes in one day. Nevertheless, he is grateful that his family continues to support his career, even though the time spent with the kids has become very limited.   "When I get home, the kids are already asleep. In the morning, when they wake up, I have to get ready to shoot again," explained Hito.

This situation makes him feel a bit like he is missing out on moments with his children, especially during important times in their growth. Hito expressed how surprised he is by the development of Zefanya and Bible.   "Yes, I’m shocked by my child's significant development, but I’m rarely there for them," he said.

On weekends, Hito usually tries to take the kids to the shooting location so they can stay close to him, even though the shooting locations have been less child-friendly in recent weeks. Behind all this busyness, Hito receives full support from his wife, Felicya Angelista. Interestingly, Felicya often expresses her desire to join the shooting again after seeing her husband in action.   "Sometimes she gets jealous, saying it’s nice that I started shooting, and she wants to join," Hito said while laughing.

Even so, Hito and Felicya chose not to be active on set at the same time, to ensure that the children receive full attention from both parents.   "It's also unfortunate if I'm shooting and he's shooting, the children would just be with the nanny all the time," concluded Hito.
