Mandra, a senior comedian known for his candid style, shares a story about his old hobby of riding big motorcycles. When met recently in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, he admitted that he still harbors a longing for big motorcycles even though he has long left that world behind.

"Honestly, I still like it, still want to. Sometimes, senior friends who are older still ride actively, and I can only pat my chest," said Mandra jokingly.

Mandra recounted that he once owned 18 motorcycles, including a Harley-Davidson. However, his love for big motorcycles had to stop after an incident made his mother ask him to stop riding big bikes.

"I used to have a motorcycle, a Harley, because of an incident where a friend had motorcycle problems, and in the end, because of how much my parents loved me, my mom said 'from now on, stop.' So I did. Besides saying yes, there was nothing else (I obeyed my mom)," he revealed.

Although he has stopped, Mandra admits he is still often tempted to try a big motorcycle. In fact, he once asked people around him about the type of motorcycle he wanted to ride to make sure whether it was a small motorcycle or not.

"I just don't want to say, yes, the motorcycle is a Japanese motorcycle. 'Is this a big motorcycle or a small motorcycle?' hoping I would get the answer 'small motorcycle,' then I would be allowed to ride it," he reminisced while laughing.

However, the answer he always received was the same, that motorcycle is classified as a big bike. In fact, when compared to Harley-Davidson, that motorcycle is considered small. "Just to be honest, this blabla motorcycle is a big bike, but in Harley, that's already a small part, the 400, 500 species if it's a small Harley," explained Mandra.

When asked if his Harley collection still existed, Mandra admitted he hadn't sold it. However, he chose not to use it anymore out of respect for his mother's message.

"If I keep it, someday, especially since my mom is no longer here, sorry, I might use it, but I'm afraid of the words," he said.

Currently, Mandra prefers to channel his hobby into another vehicle, which is a Jeep. He feels more comfortable with the four-wheeled vehicle that does not pose dilemmas like big motorcycles.

"No, I'm not brave enough, I now prefer playing with Jeeps," he said.

According to Mandra, the hobby of cars is simpler because there is no significant difference between big and small that makes him confused or feel guilty.

"Yes, cars don't have big or small," he concluded with a smile.
