Tickets Sold Out, Get Ready to Laugh at Jambore StandupIndo 2024 with Hundreds of Comedians

Kapanlagi.com - After the success of Standup Fest 2023, StandupIndo is back with a major event titled Jambore StandupIndo 2024. This event will take place from September 6 to 8, 2024, at Magunan Pines Forest, Bantul, Yogyakarta. The Vice President of StandupIndo, Erwin Wu, confirmed that the preparations for the event are nearly complete.

“The preparations in terms of production, the stage has been under construction since a week ago, and the coordination for permits and others has been underway, just waiting for the recommendation letter,” said Erwin Wu at a press conference at the Comika Headquarters, South Jakarta, Friday (30/8/2024).

At the Jambore StandupIndo 2024, there will be a total of 110 performers consisting of comedians, hosts, and other performers. Big names such as Abdur Arsyad, Arie Kriting, Bintang Emon, and Praz Teguh are confirmed to fill the performance slots.

"We need new names besides the big names; we look at the open mic to discuss who might be suitable for the jambore, especially for new comedians. Those who haven't made it yet at least have someone to chase for next year," said Erwin Wu.

1. Tickets Have Sold Out

Unlike the previous year, Erwin revealed that this year's lineup selection was more focused on the quality and consistency of the comedians. "The curation is mainly from the core StandupIndo team consisting of five people, we discuss together. Of course, we look for those who are still active, diligent in writing, and participating in open mics," he said.

Tickets for the StandupIndo Jamboree 2024, which were sold for 1,400 spectators, have sold out. For the 300 spectators who purchased camping tickets, they will have the opportunity to participate in a meet and greet on the third day. "All the tickets are sold out. So for those who already have tickets, see you at the jamboree," said Erwin.

The success of this event is inseparable from the full support of Imajinari and Nivea Men as the main sponsors. Dipa Andika, Chief Commercial Officer of Imajinari, stated that their support is based on the good relationship that has been established with the StandupIndo community.

"Imajinari's journey so far has also not been without the support of stand-up comedian friends. So, based on mutual support, Imajinari also wants to be part of StandupIndo's big event," he said.

In addition, Ernest Prakasa, Chief Creative Officer of Imajinari, hopes that this event will give rise to new talents in the world of comedy. "The hope is to bring forth new talents so that the regeneration of comedians runs smoothly," he added.

Nivea Men also showed the same enthusiasm to be involved in this event. This collaboration marks the third partnership between Nivea Men and StandupIndo, reinforcing the good and successful relationship established in the past.
