Kapanlagi.com - Comedian Marshel Widianto has announced his withdrawal from the candidacy for Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang. Previously, the 28-year-old man had been actively engaging with the residents of South Tangerang.
Nevertheless, the husband of Cesen, a former member of JKT48, stated that he does not regret his decision and has taken lessons from what he has done. He even considers the engagement moments as a reminder of when he was a contestant in the competition that made his name famous.

"The lesson is that I know better what needs to be done and also when there are problems, what should be prioritized and how to solve them," said Marshel Widianto when met in the South Tangerang area, Banten, on Wednesday (28/8).
"After I went down, I felt even more grateful because it was really like a flashback to my feelings back when I struggled before becoming a comedian, and in the end, I could be grateful and also receive abundance after working in stand-up comedy with the art that I love," he continued.
When asked further, Marshel Widianto also admitted that he was not discouraged by the cancellation of his nomination. He actually hopes to become a better person and is grateful for what he has now.
"I am focusing on myself for the future, I will become better," he said.
"I will be more grateful, and I will change to be a better Marshel Widianto," he added.
