Shella and Achmad arrived at the location to meet Doktif, who had previously reviewed their product. However, the meeting ended in tension and was referred to as an alleged assault. 

Achmad explained that his arrival with Shella was indeed accompanied by emotions. However, he denied that there was a brawl as reported.

"So, let me explain a little about the lights being turned off, that was done by the restaurant owner, not us. With our presence there being called a brawl, that actually did not happen," said Achmad at a press conference in Menteng, Central Jakarta, Wednesday (22/1/2025).

"I came with a bit of emotion to ask, ‘Where did you get the product from? How dare you review our product,’ as if this was made by us. We just wanted to clarify," he added.

One of the topics of discussion is the alleged locking of the restaurant when the incident occurred. Achmad denied that they intentionally blocked Doktif from leaving, but rather were just waiting for the police to arrive.

"We only prohibited him (Doktif) from leaving because the police were on their way to the location," he explained.

Shella also added that they actually just wanted to get an answer from Doktif regarding the source of the reviewed product. However, Doktif chose not to answer.

"That night I just wanted to know the source, but he didn’t want to admit it. He said, ‘I have the right not to answer,’" Shella revealed.

After the incident at the restaurant, both parties attempted mediation at the police station. However, the peace effort did not yield results because Doktif still refused to disclose information related to the product.

"At the police station, we have tried mediation. The police asked, 'Don't you want to settle this peacefully?' We are willing, as long as he tells us where the product came from. But he said, 'I have the right to protect the reseller,'" said Shella.

Shella feels that Doktif's reluctance to disclose the source of the product could be seen as protection for something that she believes may potentially violate the law.

"If he protects the resellers distributing this product, it means he is protecting crime," he said.

This issue began from a review made by Doktif on the TikTok account @DokterDetektif on January 17, 2025. He reviewed Shella's skincare products to ensure they complied with BPOM certification.

In the review, Doktif initially found that some products appeared safe. However, he also found some that did not list expiration dates, composition, or distribution permits.

Feeling dissatisfied with the review, Shella then sought out Doktif directly at a restaurant in East Jakarta. The incident was recorded on the restaurant's CCTV and shared by Doktif on his TikTok account. The video also showed Shella in an emotional state when meeting Doktif.
