Famous presenter Ibnu Jamil sharply critiques the composition of the England national team's squad ahead of the grand world tournament. The 44-year-old man openly admits to being dissatisfied with the player selections made by the manager.
"What does this World Cup hold? I always support England during every World Cup until Indonesia plays. As long as Indonesia hasn't played, I support England," said Ibnu Jamil when met in the Kuningan area of South Jakarta a while ago.Â

On the other hand, Ibnu suspects that the manager has a hidden strategy by calling the names of players from mediocre clubs. He suspects that the coaching staff wants to take advantage of the players' thirst for recognition, especially those with limited playing time.
"Sometimes players who are thirsty for validation, thirsty for recognition, and have limited playing time, their thirst will definitely be shown more than that of big-name players. You understand?" he said.
