23 Years Together, Marini Zumarnis is Grateful to Always Meet Her Husband in the Midst of the Pandemic

She said that she is no longer acting in soap operas even though she has been offered several times. This is because she has to travel back and forth to Australia and take care of her business. Moreover, with the ongoing pandemic, shooting schedules have been canceled.

"Well, maybe in the coming months, God willing, I can accept soap operas again. Actually, sometimes when I'm really tired, I don't want to shoot anymore. But shooting is nostalgic. So the shooting atmosphere, meeting friends, chatting, eating, laughing with friends. Especially if I get an acting fee, it's definitely a motivation," Marini replied.

1. Missing Boxed Rice

Marini admitted that she really misses the shooting atmosphere. The 44-year-old actress also admitted that she misses boxed rice and bottled mineral water.

"Yes. I miss boxed rice and bottled mineral water. Well, I do miss it but hopefully later because now we are in a pandemic and now I always pray to Allah to be given the best in work. But alhamdulillah, even though there is no shooting, especially during the zoom era, I am often invited to participate in webinars on zoom. So even though I'm at home, I'm still productive," she said.

Furthermore, Marini said that she is very grateful to be able to spend time at home.

"Masha Allah. If we want to think, many people now realize that this pandemic has taught us many life lessons. Our quality towards our family is very good. I have been married to my husband for 23 years. It seems that we have never been together at home 24 hours a day, exercising together every day, eating together, cooking together. And during Ramadan, we can perform congregational prayers every day. We have suhoor and iftar together every day," she said gratefully.

"In previous years, we were often invited to iftar events and I was shooting. Then my child was in Australia. My husband was working. In one month, we could have at least 20 percent of the time to break the fast together. But now Allah has given us this pandemic, behind a test there is an extraordinary wisdom," she added.

3. More Diligent Cooking

This mother of one child also said that during the PSBB period, the sky also appears brighter. She also admitted that she is now more diligent in cooking.

"Moreover, now with staying at home, the kitchens at home are being used a lot. In the past, the kitchen was only for display, made expensive just for display, but now it is really used. And there is online business, wow, there are various things because of the impact of staying at home, people become more creative to work," she added.
