Irfan Hakim was seen with a face full of sorrow while paying respects at the funeral home of the late Titiek Puspa. Dressed in all black complete with a black cap, Irfan came to pay his last respects to the figure he respectfully called "Grandparent." He also expressed the trust and requests mentioned by Titiek Puspa that were entrusted to him.
Irfan Hakim appeared at Titiek Puspa's residence as soon as he learned that the legendary artist had passed away. He arrived dressed in neat all-black attire complete with a cap on his head.
In a sorrowful atmosphere, Irfan expressed that Eyang Titiek's departure is a great loss, not only for family and friends but also for the Indonesian art world. However, there is one thing he clearly remembers about Titiek Puspa in particular.
"Suddenly one afternoon, Eyang Titiek Puspa called, for quite a long time, almost 1 hour. There was no wind, no rain, and Eyang wanted to discuss Indonesian children," said Irfan Hakim on Thursday (11/4/2025).
"Grandparent entrusted and requested to create a place that can accommodate Indonesian children from all provinces, who are talented in the arts," continued Irfan Hakim. His eyes looked swollen as he gazed at the body of Titiek Puspa.
"Singing, dancing, or acting, to be given the opportunity to develop their talents. Why should it be me who is given that trust??" he continued. He couldn't hold back his sadness.
"Tonight I came to pay my respects, to offer my best prayers for a good person like Grandparent who always tried to make everyone he met happy," he said. Irfan was seen bowing his head to offer a prayer.
"Insya Allah, Grandparent will be happy by His side, with all the services and sweet memories that have been etched.Grandparent..insya Allah, hopefully I can realize Grandparent's dreams..aaamiiin...," concluded Irfan Hakim. As is known, Titiek Puspa passed away at the age of 87 on April 10, 2025. May she be accepted by Him.
