Oki Setiana Dewi performed her first Tarawih in Egypt with her children. She and her daughter looked happy while gathering with other congregants.
For her, this Ramadan feels different because it is her first fasting experience in Egypt. "This is the first Ramadan I feel in the land of the Prophets, the land I have loved since I set foot here over a decade ago," she wrote on her Instagram account @okisetianadewi (3/1/2024).
Not forgetting to express gratitude for the opportunity to experience Ramadan in the land of the Prophets. "Thank you for the chance to experience the beauty of this land of Egypt, O Lord," she wrote.
From her post on Instagram, it is known that Oki performed her first tarawih prayer at Al-Azhar Mosque, Cairo, Egypt.
This is a special moment for Ria Ricis's sister. Especially since this first tarawih in Egypt was accompanied by her child.
