Musician David Bayu once again demonstrates his important role as a devoted father accompanying his daughter, AD, amidst the legal process of the scandalous video case that involves him. When met at the South Jakarta District Court on Monday (6/1/2025), David shared about his role in supporting AD.

When asked about the mental preparation in supporting his child, David gave a firm answer. "Must do," he said briefly but meaningfully, emphasizing that he is ready to face this legal process together with AD. Here are the details.

Furthermore, David explained how to prepare mentally to support his daughter. "Yes, whatever it is, it must be faced with all the processes that must be accepted," said the former vocalist of the band Naif, showing a calm attitude in facing a difficult situation.

As a parent, David admitted to always being by AD's side to help her cope with the trauma from this case.

"Yes, I always accompany her. Accompanying in this process until it is finished, we hope it will be quick, and with today we hope it will be resolved with whatever the outcome is," he said.

When asked if he would be a witness in the trial, David clarified. "I am not a witness, I am just accompanying my child," he revealed.

This case originated from the spread of a pornographic video allegedly involving AD. The police have arrested two suspects, namely MRS (22) from Pasuruan, East Java, and JE (35) from Padang, West Sumatra.

Now, both suspects have been detained by the Metro Jaya Police. They are charged under several articles of the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (ITE) as well as the Pornography Law for their roles in the dissemination of the video.

In addition to the two suspects, the police have also named AP, AD's ex-girlfriend, as the main suspect. AP is suspected of being both the actor and the distributor of the video, motivated by heartbreak after her relationship with AD ended.
