8 Legendary TVRI Nature Studio Shots, Already Exist Since 1980 - Location for Film Shooting to Colossal Soap Operas that Used to Boom

It cannot be denied that TVRI Nature Studio is the most legendary nature studio in Jabodetabek, especially. Located in Depok, West Java, this studio started construction in 1980 and was inaugurated by Mrs. Tien Soeharto.

The reason for its construction is that at that time film production only took place indoors, so an outdoor studio was created. This studio was first used for shooting the television series Rumah Masa Depan and Sengsara Membawa Nikmat as well as the television series Siti Nurbaya which was broadcasted by TVRI.

The remnants of buildings for epic films and television series can still be seen next to the main hall in the form of a kingdom gate. In the past, this area was used for shooting films and television series such as Jaka Tarub and Joko Tingkir.

"Studio Alam TVRI itself is a lush forest that covers an area of ​​approximately 28 hectares. We open cooperation for the public and external production houses for the making of feature films, television series, and FTV," explained Doko, the Account Executive of Studio Alam TVRI.

As for Indonesian films in the Millennium era that were shot here, there are films such as Kuntilanak, The Raid, Air Terjun Pengantin, and Merah Putih.

There are also TV series such as Si Entong and Si Mamat Anak Pasar Jangkrik, Jurnal Risa, and Makmum 1 & 2.

"Currently, the film Gerbang Setan is being shot, starring Komeng, Cak Lontong, Opie Kumis, and many other comedians," Doko explained.

"In addition to film production activities, this Alam TVRI studio is also used for open nature education and observation activities for schools and universities in Jabodetabek. We also have a training center building for TVRI employees and the general public," Pak Doko explained.
