Mayang Lucyana Fitri revealed that she underwent rhinoplasty surgery on her nose two years ago. The decision was made not out of insecurity, but because she wanted to look her best.
"I had rhinoplasty on my nose two years ago, so I think I'm done with just the nose," said Mayang when met in the Cibubur area, East Jakarta, on Sunday (23/6/2025). Here are the details.
She emphasized that so far there is no intention to undergo surgery on other parts of her body. According to her, she is not the type of person who is addicted to beauty procedures.
"So far there hasn't been anything, it seems that so far I have only done my nose. Because there are people who get addicted to surgery, but I'm actually not one of those who are addicted, I think I'm fine with just this," she said.
Mayang feels very satisfied with the results of the surgery. She also believes that the doctor who handled the procedure understood the shape of her face well.
"I am very okay, very satisfied with the results of my nose rhinoplasty because I consulted with the doctor beforehand. I asked for a very sharp nose, but the doctor said not to, because I want to keep it natural," said Mayang. "So it shouldn't be too pointy, you know, there are those that are too pointy, I'm afraid it won't suit my face. Indeed, with surgeries like that, it depends on compatibility," Mayang added.
Although she doesn't feel insecure, Mayang admits she wants a slight change so her face looks more balanced. This is also in line with her job that demands her to look attractive in front of the camera. "I'm not insecure about my nose, but I just want something like, well, before I wasn't insecure about my nose, I just want it to be a bit more pointed," said Mayang.
Since getting involved in the entertainment world, Mayang's attention to her appearance has increased. She also realizes the importance of maintaining her look to stay confident.
"Definitely, because since I entered the entertainment world, I've become more concerned about my appearance, like what girl in this world doesn't want to look beautiful, especially me who works in the entertainment industry where I have to appear in public," said Mayang.
"It’s certain that people see it and think, oh yes, Mayang has changed, so this glow up is really important for me, appearance is my top priority, so it’s really my concern," concluded Mayang.
