Recently, news spread that Dubai is currently experiencing heavy floods. Many are curious about Shandy's condition there. She informed through her Instagram story.
In Shandy's Instagram story, it was observed that the flood did indeed hit hard. Moreover, rain and storms accompanied it. The streets were seen filled with water.
The ground floor of the mall that Shandy visited was also flooded. Several mall employees were seen busy removing the water.
Shandy, who initially wanted to go shopping, had to cancel her plans, especially since the store she intended to visit was filled with water. She hurried back to the hotel.
"In front of the Chanel boutique, it looks like a water park. Nature really doesn't allow shopping. The only option is to go back to the hotel and sleep. Why is it right in front of Chanel?" she wrote.
Reported by Liputan6.com, the rain that occurred in Dubai on Monday (15/4) until Tuesday (16/4) night is the largest rainfall in the last 75 years.
According to The Guardian, rain also fell in Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia, although the rainfall was very significant in the UAE.
