"Actually, I've liked football since 1st grade of elementary school, during a tournament in my village I couldn't participate because I was selling cakes, selling fish," said Betrand Peto when met at GBK, Senayan, Central Jakarta, on Monday (22/7).

"When I was here, I used to participate, I also practiced regularly. I haven't played for a long time because at that time there were shooting obstacles and I like singing, so football is just a bonus," he continued.

When asked further, Betrand admitted that when he moved to Jakarta, he was confused about whether to choose football or singing as his career path. In the end, Betrand chose the world of singing because he believes that football is just a hobby for exercising.

"Yesterday I was confused about choosing between football or singing. I like both football and singing, and if I can't do both, then because I have a good singing talent, I choose singing," he said.

In addition, Betrand considers sports like football to be very important. Not only for physical fitness, but also useful for improving breath control while singing.

"Actually, it's important but I haven't played football for a long time. Usually, I often do sports like swimming, but I haven't done it for a long time because I'm busy moving houses," he explained.   "Well, when I sing, my breath is not good anymore, so I started doing sports again and playing football," he concluded.
