Artist Celine Evangelista is currently reported to be deepening her understanding of Islam. Umi Pipik, who is the figure guiding Celine in this process, shares her friend's spiritual journey in learning about Islam.
According to Umi Pipik, Celine shows a high enthusiasm for learning about religion.

"In my view, she is very enthusiastic about learning," said Umi Pipik in the area of Jalan Kapten Tendean, Mampang, South Jakarta, Wednesday (21/8/2024).
Umi Pipik explained that initially Celine was not wearing a hijab in the photo she uploaded. However, Celine requested that the photo be taken even though she was not wearing a jilbab at that time.
"The post I shared yesterday was initially when she wasn't wearing a hijab, when she was about to go home she asked, 'Umi, can we take a photo first, but I am not wearing a jilbab right now', 'it's okay, don't hesitate', meaning just as it is, but she said, 'but I really want to wear a hijab, I'm looking for religious lessons so I can wear a hijab, Umi, but right now I can't because of work'," said Umi Pipik.
Umi Pipik also revealed that she often sees Celine praying and studying religion with great enthusiasm. "I see her praying, studying religion, she is indeed enthusiastic about learning," she said.
When asked about the communication between Celine and herself, Umi Pipik stated that their communication is quite intense. "It's often, Celine asks a lot of questions, she's still learning too," she said.
Umi Pipik also explained that Celine's desire to deepen her understanding of Islam is very strong. "Oh yes, it's very strong, she even asks for private lessons for religious studies because when it's crowded, she still feels shy to ask questions, that's why she often requests private sessions," said Umi.
Umi Pipik's hope regarding Celine's learning process is that she remains patient and full of love throughout that process. "Learning requires patience, learning is done with love, by loving oneself, it can change oneself for the better. Everything must be done with a foundation of love," she concluded. Â
Umi Pipik added that the process of learning religion is a journey that requires dedication and commitment. "Celine shows high dedication, and I hope she can continue to grow in this learning process," she added.
