Isyana Bagoes Oka was born in Jakarta on September 13, 1980, with the full name Ratu Ayu Isyana Bagoes Oka.

This woman of Balinese descent began her career as a model and presenter. She also frequently appears on television as a news anchor and journalist.

It is known that Isyana Bagoes Oka is an alumnus of the International Relations Department at the University of Indonesia. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in 2003, before starting her career as a reporter.

After more than a decade working in the media and journalism field, Isyana Bagoes Oka decided to enter the political world in 2014 along with two of her colleagues, Grace Natalie and Raja Juli Antoni, who initiated the establishment of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI).

His involvement in the political world began when he joined a political party, specifically as a member of the board of trustees of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI).

In 2015, he was officially declared the chairman of the DPP PSI. He claimed to be inspired by his late grandmother, Gedong Bagoes Oka, who was once a member of the DPR and a member of the MPR representing the Hindu Group.

In the 2019 election, Isyana joined the National Campaign Team (TKN) for Jokowi-Ma'ruf Amin, and ran as a Legislative Member from PSI for the Banten III electoral district, although in the end, he did not succeed in becoming a member of the DPR-RI.

Isyana Bagoes Oka was one of the people who attended the invitation from Prabowo Subianto at Jalan Kertanegara IV, South Jakarta, on Tuesday, October 15, 2024. This indicates that he will be one of the Candidates for Minister or Deputy Minister in Prabowo Subianto's cabinet. And now, he is officially the Deputy Minister of Population.
