"There is a philosophy behind this, the charm for women is here (glasses). If it's not minus, it's gone, it's not attractive anymore," said Kiesha Alvaro jokingly when met at SCTV Tower, Jakarta, Thursday (10/8/2023).

According to Kiesha, glasses are part of her appearance support that makes Korean style as her fashion inspiration.

"Because now my outfit is more towards Korean style. So, wearing these glasses adds more confidence. It feels strange if I don't wear glasses," she said.

The star of the soap opera Dari Jendela SMP further stated that she has been suffering from nearsightedness since the fifth grade of elementary school. She admitted that it was because she often used gadgets.

"So, this is a high degree of nearsightedness because when I was little, I often used a mobile phone. Looking at the phone up close like this, I didn't realize that my eyes became -4. Fortunately, now it only stays at -5, not worse," she said.

There was a desire to undergo LASIK surgery to cure his nearsightedness. However, Kiesha has not done it yet.

In addition to enjoying wearing glasses as a 'woman attractor' item, Kiesha's reason is because of her busy schedule.

"I want to have LASIK, but currently I have many projects. I'm afraid LASIK will not go smoothly and it will affect my shooting schedule. It might clash with my schedule. Maybe if there's a holiday in the future, I will consider LASIK," she said.
