Marissa Haque passed away on Wednesday (10/2). Her departure left a deep sorrow for many. The artist and lecturer had often touched on the subject of death, one of which was 2 weeks ago. She had also confessed that she wanted to pass away easily. Here are the details.
The entertainment world in the country is once again shrouded in sad news, this time from the family of Ikang Fawzi. His wife Marissa Haque is reported to have passed away on Wednesday (10/2) early morning.
Marissa passed away about 2 weeks before her 62nd birthday. Two weeks prior (19/9), she had mentioned death on her personal Instagram.
"The matter of passing does not have to wait until old age or illness, right? We never know, we never know," she wrote at that time. On September 22, 2024, she also touched on a similar topic.
"A quiet night, still struggling in peace until Allah SWT calls us home," she wrote while uploading a black and white photo. It can be said that Marissa often reflected on death.
She was reported to have experienced severe diarrhea accompanied by fever last August. After recovering, she returned to activities such as visiting Malang and Banyuwangi.
In July 2024, Marissa expressed her desire to live peacefully in her old age, to have an easy death, a quick reckoning in the afterlife, and to enter paradise al-Jannah directly.
That desire came true. Marissa passed away without having to be sick first. During her umrah on April 28, 2024, she confessed that she wanted to die before Ikang Fawzi. That also came true.
Several times, Marissa indeed mentioned death at the age of 62, including through the story of Imam Bukhari who also died at the age of 62.
