Actress Nikita Mirzani expressed her anger after the father of Vadel Badjideh, Umar, claimed that he was the one helping his child Nikita Mirzani's daughter, Laura Meizani alias Lolly, to be more diligent in worship. The statement received a sharp response from Nikita, who felt offended.
Nikita's anger escalated when Umar linked his child's worship to the lack of religious teaching from himself. As if Lolly had never been taught to worship since she was little.
"I'm really annoyed with stupid parents like Umar, Vadel's father. How can he say Laura never fasts? Never prays? Tarawih? Is he blind or what, doesn't he understand?" said Nikita when met at the South Jakarta Metro Police, on Tuesday (10/8/2024)
The 38-year-old actress emphasized that her family has taught LM religious values since early on. She feels very uncomfortable when others interfere in her family's personal matters.
"My child, my family has been taught religion from an early age, so there's no need to talk about morals," said Nikita.
The mother of three suggested that Umar should just focus on taking care of his children. Moreover, there are many negative behaviors displayed by Umar's children.
"Just take care of your child, your child is everywhere. He likes to show his genitals, right? Vadel to girls, just ask his child," pleaded Nikita.
Indeed, previously Umar stated that he was shocked to find out that Lolly, who had been left by Nikita, confessed to him that she had never observed fasting. Umar then taught her to worship until finally Lolly wore a hijab.
Nikita revealed the fact that Lolly's decision to wear a hijab indeed came from the child herself. Moreover, her statement was made directly on social media and not because of someone's suggestion.
"Where is it? Yesterday she said she wanted to wear it herself, now she says it's because of them, which one is true? That's why when you speak, it should be written down so it doesn't get misinterpreted," she concluded.
