Franki Indrasmoro Sumbodo chose to become an office worker after deciding to leave the band that had made his name, Naif. The 48-year-old man revealed that when he first started working, his office did not allow him to make music.
"When I left the band, I worked at a record label office, and one of the rules was no music. I just followed it at the time," Pepeng said in the Bangka area, South Jakarta, on Thursday (23/5/2024).

As time went by, Pepeng began to miss creating artworks in the world of music. That's why he decided to leave his job at that time.Â
"After that, I found the restlessness to create again until finally I said to the office at that time that I wanted to create again," he said.
Fortunately, the new office that Pepeng went to allowed him to create music again.
That's why, finally his longing to create was fulfilled again.
"After leaving that office, alhamdulillah, there was another office that provided flexibility, so I could still make music even in the music industry as long as I could manage my time," he explained.
"So, the most important strategy is to always get permission first whenever you want to do anything related to music outside the office, so the work doesn't have to be done in the office, it can be done remotely, can work from home as long as you have permission," Pepeng added.
Recently, Pepeng finally released his latest single titled Ceriakan Dunia since February 2024. Not as a band, Pepeng decided to pursue a solo career under his own name, Franki Indrasmoro, and dropped the Naif label from his name.
"My latest solo project, a music project under the stage name Franki Indrasmoro, that's my ID name. The project is to create an album, currently working on the first single, released on February 23rd, which coincided with the fasting month of Eid, so the marketing didn't run optimally," he concluded.
