Putri Ariani made Indonesia proud after her performance on America's Got Talent (AGT) 2023 impressed the audience and judges, including Simon Cowell who gave her the Golden Buzzer.
The 17-year-old visually impaired singer confessed that she has dreamed of becoming a famous singer since she was a child. To achieve her dream, Putri participated in the talent search competition Indonesian Got Talent (IGT) in 2014.
"It all started when I won IGT 2014," said Putri Ariani at the INews building in Kebon Sirih, Jakarta, on Friday (9/6/2023). After that, this girl from Riau achieved several accomplishments.
"Putri continued on in 2017 for The Voice Kids season 2. In 2018, she was trusted to sing at the Paragames. In 2020, she received an award from Kemindikbud for being smart and having character, in 2022 Putri sang the national anthem at Manahan Solo stadium for the Paragames, and in 2023 she received the golden buzzer, Alhamdulillah," she said.
Not satisfied with just achieving success in her home country, Putri raised her dreams to become a world diva. That's why she decided to join America's Got Talent.
"I want to join AGT to become a world diva. Putri wants to be an international diva like Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, Mariah Carey. I've been a fan of them since forever," she said.
She hopes her dream will come true so she can inspire others to achieve their dreams.
"Being a diva is not just for Putri, but for the world too. How can Putri contribute to the world, how can Putri inspire and influence others to dare to pursue their dreams and do more as much as I do," she said.
In addition to her dream of becoming a world diva, Putri Ariani also dreams of winning prestigious awards on the international stage, such as the Grammy Awards.
"Princess really wants to get the Grammy award as a separate validation for her career," said Princess.
