The tragic death case of artist Sandy Permana, known as one of the legendary soap opera actors in Mak Lampir, is slowly beginning to find clarity. The local neighborhood head, Sudarmaji, revealed that the victim and the perpetrator knew each other and had previously been involved in a conflict before the stabbing incident.
"They knew each other," said Sudarmaji when met in the Cibarusah area, West Java, Sunday (12/1/2025). Here are the details.
According to him, the conflict began from Sandy's displeasure with the perpetrator regarding neighborhood activities. This led to Sandy's plan to send a warning to the perpetrator, which then sparked a heated debate between the two.
"If it's about the trigger because this is not only known by me, many know, so it started with the plan to give a warning from the victim to the perpetrator due to the victim's displeasure with the perpetrator regarding community environmental activities," explained Sudarmaji.
The debate, he continued, heated up the relationship between the victim and the perpetrator. Until finally, it is suspected that the perpetrator felt resentful, culminating in the stabbing crime that claimed Sandy's life.
"There was a debate, and from that debate, the victim became unhappy and decided to give a warning to the suspect," he added.
Sudarmaji also revealed that the crime occurred on Sunday morning around 07:30 AM WIB. At that time, the atmosphere in the Cibarusah area was cloudy, and most residents were inside their homes.
"I just learned that there has been a stabbing crime committed by one of my residents against a victim who is also one of the residents. That incident occurred around 07:30 AM WIB, still early in the cloudy morning. Many residents were not outside, some were inside," he said.
Until now, the police are still pursuing the suspect believed to be involved in this stabbing case. Previously, the Head of Criminal Investigation at the Bekasi Police, Kompol Onkoseno Grandiarso Sukahar, confirmed that one suspect is currently being sought.
Sandy Permana was found in a severely injured condition on the side of the road near his home. Although he was taken to the hospital by local residents, his life could not be saved.
