Tengku Firmansyah is known to now be a blacksmith in Canada. Interestingly, he actually could have become a pilot. He did not choose that profession because he wants to be close to family. Tengku Firmansyah moved to Canada with his wife and two children in April 2024. He not only left Indonesia but also gave up his profession as an actor.
His life in Canada is far from luxury. Firman even did not hesitate to switch careers to become a blacksmith in a manufacturing company. Every day, he assembles iron to make giant pipes.
Interestingly, Firman could have actually become a pilot there. He revealed this himself in the comments section of an Instagram post in early August.
At that time, a netizen asked why Firman did not take advantage of his commercial pilot certificate. Firman responded.
"I already have a CPL FAA but I need to get another license in Canada if I want to fly here. But if I become a pilot, I would often be away from my family. I want to see them every day," he wrote.
Working as a blacksmith eventually became Firman's choice so he could always be close to his family. In fact, that profession also requires him to take certification again.
The profession he is currently in is apparently not easy. He has to grapple with dangerous heavy tools every day. Netizens even pray for him to always be safe while working.Â
"This nine-inch grinder is the most dangerous and heavy tool. It takes time to get used to using this tool and even though I consider it a weapon, I have to be extra careful because its cutting power is really strong," wrote Firman.
