Kapanlagi.com - Artist Kimberly Ryder revealed the reason why she does not want to burden actor Edward Akbar in their divorce process.
In her divorce petition, Kimberly only asks for alimony of Rp 5,000, which includes mut'ah, iddah, madhiyah, kiswah, and maskan, each valued at Rp 1,000.

According to Kimberly, her decision is not a form of insinuation towards Edward.
"No, it’s actually not intended to insinuate or anything at all," Kimberly explained at the South Jakarta Police Station on Thursday (22/8/2024).
"Do you remember when I talked about filing a lawsuit for what seems like only Rp 5,000? My thinking was okay, it’s for iddah maintenance, mut'ah, and all that stuff," she continued.
The star of Bangsal Isolasi added that this step was taken to not burden Edward with the maintenance payments.
"If it really has to be paid, it must be paid by the defendant. I don’t want to burden him, so I just wrote Rp 1,000 for everything, a total of Rp 5,000," she said.
Furthermore, Kimberly emphasized that she does not want to complicate things for Edward in this matter.
"So it's not meant to be a jab. Because I don't want to make it difficult for him in that regard," she said.
Nevertheless, Kimberly emphasized that there is one thing she still wants from Edward, which is his responsibility for their child's support.
"I just want him to be responsible for the child's support, that's all," she concluded.
