9 Photos of Ian Kasela Emphasizes He Didn't Invite Vadel Badjideh to Feature with Radja: If He Hopes for More, He Needs to Learn to Sing

Ian Kasela speaks out regarding the frustration of Vadel Badjideh who feels his voice was not included in the single Apa Sih. According to Ian, there was a misunderstanding that made Vadel think he was more involved in the production process of the song.

"Now regarding the song, there is an audio of his voice, which I analyze as just a guide when he was taking it. So it seems like he is the one (singing), so that the story in the clip is captured, so that it seems like this belongs to him, just to that extent," said Ian when met in the Kuningan area, South Jakarta, Sunday (29/12/2024).

Ian added, if Vadel has higher expectations regarding his involvement, that needs to be addressed with learning and experience.

"But if he expects more, maybe he needs to learn to sing again," Ian said briefly.

When asked further whether Vadel really went into the recording studio for the vocal recording process, Ian firmly denied this.

"No. He didn’t go to the recording studio to sing properly or feature, that’s not true," Ian asserted.

Ian also explained that the entire production process of the song Apa Sih, including the koplo version, was fully directed by him and Moldy. In fact, whenever there was a mistake, it was Ian who corrected and directed the process.

"Because here we are clear that Cinderella yes (feat Radja), I’m the guide, I’m the one directing, I’m the one doing everything for the take of the song Apa Sih, that is the koplo version. If he made a mistake, I corrected it and we repeated it many times," he explained.

According to Ian, Vadel's presence in the music video serves more to support the story so that it looks like he is the one singing the song. However, Ian emphasizes that Vadel was not involved in the main recording process.

"Vadel is not there. He’s not there because I think he’s not meant to be featured. Honestly, Mas Moldy wanted the story in the music video to seem like it’s him (singing). To capture the soul, maybe Vadel misunderstood that," added Ian.

Ian also mentioned Vadel's emotional demeanor, which is considered unstable. According to him, Vadel needs to understand the process and learn to control his emotions.

"Yes, maybe going back to what Seno said earlier. He is still what? Still young. So he is still unstable, emotional, and so on, not stable," concluded Ian
