A Series of Support from Ivan Gunawan for Palestine, Providing Moral and Material Support

Ivan Gunawan displayed the Palestinian flag at his hijab boutique office, Hijab Mandjha Ivan Gunawan. "We stand for Palestine @mandjha.ivangunawan is committed to supporting humanitarian movements to help our brothers and sisters in Palestine," wrote Ivan Gunawan in the caption of his post. 

Through his hijab boutique, Ivan Gunawan designs hijabs specifically created to support the struggle of Palestine. He hopes that the special design from his hijab brand can heal the wounds of the Palestinian people. 

"I was inspired by the Keffiyeh scarf that is synonymous with the Palestinian struggle. Then I added floral ornaments that are the same color as the Palestinian flag. And thus, a headscarf was born. Alhamdulillah, it has been well received in the market and can help heal the wounds of Palestine," said Ivan Gunawan on one occasion.

Not stopping there, Ivan Gunawan also donates a portion of the profits from Hijab Mandjha to victims of the conflict in Palestine. Ivan Gunawan mentioned that he has already donated two ambulances to be sent there. 

"God willing, the sales results of the hijabs can be even greater, and can be more beneficial. Last year we were able to donate 2 ambulances and everything, this year, God willing, it can be more," said Ivan Gunawan. 

Ivan Gunawan once sent aid worth 1 billion rupiah in the form of food, clothing, and medicine for the Palestinian people. Ivan Gunawan sees this as a form of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) from his hijab boutique. 

"And we hope that what he has done will serve as an example for others," said Noor, the chairman of BAZNAS RI during the donation handover event by Ivan Gunawan last year in 2024.
