The divorce process of comedian Boiyen and her husband, Rully Anggi Akbar, continues at the Tigaraksa Religious Court in Tangerang. At the second hearing held on Tuesday (03/02/2025), Boiyen was seen absent and was only represented by her attorney, Anselmus Mallofiks.

The absence of Boiyen and Rully caused the hearing, which was scheduled for summons, to be postponed. The panel of judges has rescheduled the hearing for February 24, hoping that both parties can attend to proceed to the mediation stage.

"Yes, so today the principal, from our client, Ms. Yeni Rahmawati (Boiyen) is not present. And indeed today the defendant has not shown up either and will be summoned again on the 24th of February. Hopefully, they will come so everything is clear and it is likely to proceed to mediation if they attend," explained Anselmus.

Regarding the reason for the divorce lawsuit, Anselmus was reluctant to disclose details as it has entered the substance of the case. He only mentioned that communication between Boiyen and Rully has not been going well, which is one of the triggers for the breakdown of their short-lived marriage.

"So, what to call it, their communication is still not very good. No, it’s just that it’s lacking in this aspect of communication. The main issue here is that our client actually wants to build a household where the communication flows smoothly," he revealed.

In his lawsuit, Boiyen is known to only be seeking a divorce without any claims for shared assets. Anselmus emphasized that his client's main focus right now is to legally resolve his marital status and end the household that he has just built.

"It's just a divorce. Yes, a divorce lawsuit is definitely like that," asserted the lawyer in response to media inquiries regarding the contents of the lawsuit filed by the singer of the song "Cintamu Itu Hoax".

Regarding the possibility of reconciliation, Anselmus could not provide certainty yet. He asked the public to be patient and to follow the court proceedings which are still in the early stages, while waiting for further developments in mediation later.

"Yes, let's just see how the development goes, okay, Sis. Because this is still very much in the early stages, who knows if there will be further developments, let's just wait and see how it goes later," he concluded.
