Divorce Lawsuit Against Rully, Boiyen's Side Denies Knowledge of Fraud

Shocking news comes from the household of comedian Yeni Rahmawati alias Boiyen. Just two months into their marriage, Boiyen is reported to have filed for divorce from her husband, Rully Anggi Akbar. 

Rully's name has recently been a topic of conversation due to being embroiled in a case of alleged fraud and embezzlement of culinary investment funds. Amid the ongoing divorce proceedings, there is much speculation linking Boiyen's decision to the legal issues surrounding Rully.

However, Anselmus Mallofiks, as the legal representative of Boiyen, provided a clear clarification regarding his client's position in the matter. In his statement, Anselmus denied that his client was aware of the fraud case involving Rully.

"If the current situation is indeed shocking, especially with the latest condition from the defendant's side. We already know from social media. So, what we can inform you now is that our client, Ms. Yeni, is completely unaware of the debates or reports as conveyed by the opposing side through their legal representative and herself," he stated when met at the Tigaraksa Religious Court, Tangerang, on Tuesday (03/02/2025).

Anselmus emphasized that Boiyen was unaware of the alleged fraud case involving her husband. According to him, the accusations dragging Boiyen's name are untrue because his client has never been involved in Rully's problematic business affairs.

"Because according to our client's statement, he is not aware of it. So that is very untrue. But what is certain is that the opinion that has been conveyed by the defendant and his legal counsel on the side, our client does not know and our client will not interfere with that matter," he added.

Rully Anggi Akbar was previously reported to the Metro Jaya Police regarding allegations of investment fraud in the culinary sector worth hundreds of millions of rupiah. This case emerged shortly after his marriage to Boiyen, adding to the comedian's worries at the beginning of their marriage.

However, Anselmus does not deny that this situation is quite shaking for Boiyen's mental state. The comedian, known for his cheerful demeanor, certainly feels disturbed by the negative news circulating, but he tries to remain professional in entertaining the public.

Boiyen herself filed for divorce from Rully due to poor communication issues. In her lawsuit, Boiyen's side cited communication as the reason behind the divorce petition from their marriage, which is still very young.
