Absent at the Divorce Declaration Session, Pratama Arhan Remains Officially Divorced from Azizah Salsha

On the day determining his marital status, footballer Pratama Arhan did not show up at all. Arhan was absent from the reading session of the divorce declaration, which was the final agenda of his divorce from Azizah Salsha at the Tigaraksa Religious Court on Monday (29/9/2025).

Arhan's absence certainly raises significant questions. However, the mystery was immediately addressed by his legal team who were present as representatives. According to Adinda Dwi Inggardiah, one of Arhan's lawyers, her client had to be absent due to the demands of professionalism as a football athlete.

Adinda explained that Arhan is currently in Bangkok, Thailand, to prepare for an important match with his club. The club did not grant him permission to return to Indonesia.

"So today for our client, Pratama Arhan, he cannot be present because he is preparing for the Asia Elite Cup 2 match in Bangkok which will take place on October 1. So indeed, his club does not allow him to attend. So we apologize to everyone," said Adinda at PA Tigaraksa, Monday (29/9/2025).

Even without Arhan's presence as the petitioner, the legal process continues. Arhan's role in reciting the divorce pledge was replaced by his lawyer, Singgih Tomi Gumilang, who has been authorized. Singgih explained how the process took place in front of the panel of judges.

"With Your Excellency the Honorable Judges. As he continues to read, he said, 'Even though you have never married this person, you have declared this person in the name of your petitioner, not in my name,'" explained Singgih.

My legal team also admitted that they have not communicated again with Arhan after the hearing was over. Their last communication occurred in the morning before the hearing to confirm the agenda that would be carried out.

"After the reading, not yet. So right after we came out, we met with friends earlier. So this morning was the last time we communicated that we would convey the agenda for today, the declaration of talak, maybe after lunchtime and it happened at a little past 2, indeed we arrived here around 2. Then everything went smoothly, we only queued in three lines, after that it was done, we read it, and now it’s finished," he said.

With the reading of the divorce declaration by the legal counsel, the divorce of Pratama Arhan and Azizah Salsha has officially become legally binding. The lawyer hopes for the best for both of their lives in the future.

"To be honest, both of us actually want to convey that after today, may goodness always abound for brother Arhan and sister Azizah. That's all from me," he concluded.
