Accused of Being a Cringe YouTuber, Ari Lasso: I Won't Prank Ojol or Poor People

These prank contents are suspected to be Ari's attempt to get views and subscribers that will later influence his adsense channel. Ari is also said to rarely discuss music that has been closely associated with him.

However, Ari refuses to be called cringe by netizens who comment on his social media page. He dismisses the accusation of being cringe addressed by Deddy Corbuzier to him.

1. Not Pranking Randomly

Regarding prank content, Ari admits that he enjoys pranking others. But he promises not to play tricks on people he doesn't know.

"I apologize to other YouTubers, I don't prank or play tricks on people I don't know. I'm sorry, (prank on) delivery drivers, less fortunate people, people we don't know and pretend to make them angry. I only do it to my friends. I would never prank someone on the street and pretend to be angry, I wouldn't go there," said Ari while chatting with Luna Maya and aired on the YouTube channel @Luna Maya, Wednesday (8/7).

2. Not Leaving Music

"It's not me claiming to be a legend. I'm just being myself, people know me as silly. That's just how my life is, you know how silly a band member can be," Ari said to Luna.

Ari is curious why many people think he has left music because of YouTube. But he didn't do that.

"So let me tell you, some people say Ari Lasso is back to music, many think I left music because I became a YouTuber," he said.

"But it's not true, right? Being a YouTuber?" Luna asked.

"No, of course not," Ari replied.

3. Do Not Understand the Definition of 'Alay' Intended by Netizens

Ari Lasso also does not understand what the definition of 'alay' that netizens mean. Luna then revealed that many were disappointed because Ari Lasso, who is now a legend, has changed.

"I also do not understand what 'alay' means, and I am not the one who gave him that label," she continued.
