The news of Park Ji Hoon's passing was recently announced by the late actor's family on Thursday (14/5/2020) through the actor's Instagram account, along with information about the funeral location. On Friday (15/5/2020), Park Ji Hoon's brother posted again on Instagram.

The family announced the passing of Park Ji Hoon while posting a photo of a condolence flower arrangement sent by friends and colleagues of the late actor.
"We are posting this message so that no one feels left out.
We are very grateful for the peace and support that you have given, even in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Thank you, so that we are not alone in sending off our brother to heaven. Your support is a source of strength not only for me, but also for the whole family. We will never forget.
