Addicted to Plastic Surgery to Look More Beautiful, Mawar AFI Admits Spending Hundreds of Millions

Kapanlagi.com - Mawar AFI apparently is not satisfied with the shape of her nose after undergoing rhinoplasty plastic surgery. The 38-year-old woman finally underwent plastic surgery for the second time.

She also admitted that the second surgery was done to enhance the shape of her nose that had already changed. Not wanting to hold back, Mawar had her nose operated on again to match her facial features.

"Why did I finally have a rhinoplasty surgery, so this is specifically for aesthetic purposes, to make it better," said Mawar Afi when met in the Tendean area, South Jakarta, on Wednesday (17/7).

"I mean, it's already changed, so why not make it even better, according to my facial features," she continued.

In addition, Mawar AFI revealed the cost spent on the plastic surgery. She admitted that she had to dig deeper into her pocket for the second operation.

Not half-hearted, Mawar admitted to spending Rp 521 million to fix the shape of her nose and jaw.

"Because I had rhinoplasty yesterday, and it was a revision, so the cost was twice as expensive as those who have never had any surgery at all," said Mawar.

"The revision is to fix the previous one. Yesterday it was around Rp 521 million, for the nose and jaw," she added.

2. Decision to Have Plastic Surgery

Mawar explained that initially she was only accompanying a friend who wanted to have surgery. However, because Mawar AFI happened to have a problem with her left nasal larynx, she decided to have the surgery as well.

"But at that time, I was accompanying one of my friends, and coincidentally, I also had a problem with my left nasal larynx," she said.

3. Lump on the Nose

When asked further, Mawar said that she finally agreed to undergo surgery because there was indeed a lump on her nose. She admitted that the lump often caused her pain.

"So there is some kind of polyp or lump, and if I have a flu or just finished crying, the pain can be extraordinary, even if I sleep with my head tilted to the left for too long, when I wake up, I can immediately have a severe migraine that reaches my ears, so every day I take medication to reduce the inflammation," said the AFI graduate.

"So the reason I underwent surgery is because it is really narrow (in the nasal cavity), so they made a bone implant, but because it's not a cosmetic doctor, but a reconstructive bone surgeon, and the first time I underwent surgery was in 2004, the shape was not very good," she concluded.
