Hetty Koes Endang responds calmly to the open summons filed by Richard Kyoto regarding the alleged copyright infringement of the song titled Kasih. The senior singer tries to remain calm in facing it.
"Alhamdulillah, I have been responding to it calmly, the important thing is prayers. Let's together find a solution," said Hetty Koes Endang in a virtual interview on Wednesday (17/7/2024).
Hetty admits that she is currently out of town, so she cannot attend face-to-face interviews. She asks for prayers to always be given health and strength.

"It doesn't affect her. The publisher should be the one summoned, not the singer. Universal Malaysia has formed their legal team to face Richard's team. That's the right thing, not the singer, absolutely wrong," Yusuf explained.
Hetty also admitted to talking to Siti Nurhaliza regarding this summons. Siti is the one who invited Hetty to perform in Malaysia for the Satu Suara Volume 2 Concert in 2015.
"Already (communication) and she handed it over to Universal Music Malaysia," said Hetty. "Because Siti only produces concerts. As for the recording, it's handed over to Universal," added Yusuf.
For your information, Richard Kyoto sent a summons to Hetty regarding allegations of copyright infringement of the song 'Kasih'. Richard suspects that Hetty has performed his song without permission.
