Adly Fairuz Examined Regarding the Akpol Fraud Case, Asserts He Remains a Witness

The actor has reportedly complied with the police summons to provide testimony as a witness regarding the flow of funds that are suspected to have been directed to him during the investigation of this case.

Currently, Adly Fairuz must face two legal paths simultaneously. In addition to a police report at the East Jakarta Metro Police, his name is also included in a civil lawsuit for breach of contract at the South Jakarta District Court. This case originated from a report by a man named Abdul Hadi who feels he has been deceived by an individual.

1. Not Directly Reporting Adly

"So the one we reported is indeed AW, because our client handed over money to AW," said Mesini when met at the East Jakarta Metro Police, Tuesday (20/1/2026).

The victim's lawyer, Mesini, clarified that they did not directly report Adly Fairuz, but rather someone with the initials AW.

However, the name of the actor emerged after investigators conducted further development of the report. In the in-depth investigation process, there were indications of funds flowing to several parties including AF, Uki, and VP.

2. Adly Fairuz Has Undergone Examination

"So at the time of the incident, our client handed over money to, we apologize for only mentioning the initials, AW. Then, as the investigation developed, it turned out there were funds flowing to the initials AF, Uki, and VP. That is based on the investigation results," said Mesini.

According to the lawyer's statement, Adly Fairuz has undergone examination by the investigative team to provide an explanation. On the other hand, AW, who is the main reported party in this case, has not shown up at all.

In fact, the authorities have listed AW as a Wanted Person (DPO) because the man continues to evade and does not respond to police summons.

3. Examined as a Witness

"As of now, he is still a witness because he has been questioned by the investigator," said Mesini.

This issue is known to have started back in 2023. At that time, Agung Wahyono promised assistance so that Abdul Hadi's child could pass the Akpol selection, but in reality, the child was declared unsuccessful. Feeling materially harmed, the victim officially filed a report with the East Jakarta Metro Police with report number LP/B/2282/VI/2025/SPKT in June 2025.

"Currently, we are still upholding the presumption of innocence. However, it can be confirmed that the initials AF or Adly Fairuz has indeed appeared to respond to the investigator's summons," said Mesini.
