"Actually, among all the ghosts that appear in movies, for me the scariest is the pocong," she said in the KapanLagi Show recently.
"Of course, why? Because we know that when a person dies, they look like that. I have bathed my parents, and they looked like that," Nirina continued.
"I have never seen anything else except for the pocong itself, and this is real. So it feels close to reality, right?" she added.
Even though she is afraid of the pocong, that does not deter Nirina's courage to star in horror films again. As is known, Nirina is an actress who has not starred in many horror films.
One of the horror films that showcased his iconic acting is MIRROR, which was released in 2005. Now, he is back acting in a horror film titled PANGGILAN DARI KUBUR, which will be released on August 14, 2025.
Nirina admitted that one of her main considerations for returning to the horror genre is the story. "Of course the story, at the very beginning, we definitely look at the story first when offered a film. The story is really compelling. I mean, it's also a family drama too," she expressed.
